New Suburb Beautiful

Tampa's New Suburb Beautiful was developed between 1920 and 1940, and almost all of the historic houses have been restored to their original beauty. The community has tree lined streets, sidewalks and excellent access to schools and shopping along Howard Avenue, all of which provide for convenience and quality of neighborhood living.

New Suburb Beautiful's boundaries are roughly Morrison Avenue to the north, MacDill Avenue to the east, Prospect Avenue to the south, Howard Avenue to the west, and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway to the Southeast.

As of the census of 2010, there were 921 people and 340 households presently located in the neighborhood. The population density was 7,609/mi². The racial makeup of New Suburb Beautiful was 97% White, 0% African American, 0.0% Native American, 1% Asian, 0% from other races, and 5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5% of the population.
